An Avian Vet Does a New Pet Check on Young Parakeet

This video shows a newly-purchased parakeet having its initial checkup. Peabo is 6 weeks old.

Dr Ross Perry is a holistic avian vet, and it’s wonderful to watch him talking to Peabo, and calming him before starting the physical examination, and as the examination progresses.

Dr Perry  notes Peabo has a soiled vent and also has feather mites. Many other clinical signs appear to be normal.
