How to Clip Your Parakeet’s Nails

Budgies can get overgrown nails, and it’s usually a result of their perches. A perch made of a piece of smooth dowel does not allow the nails to file naturally.

Make sure your bird has several perches, made of rough, natural tree branches in various sizes.
