Spatzi the budgie is in bliss!

Here is one of his massage sessions – he gets a head massage 20 times a day. Sounds like bliss, right?

In this video, Spatzi was blind, but would still fly across the room to his owner/friend.

His owner explains, “Once used to sitting on my hand, he slowly got used to being touched. And once he realized how good that felt he couldn’t get enough. Especially after he went blind, and he is blind in this video. He needed constant contact after going blind. He still flew to me across the room when he was blind. Considering all his ailments, he lived quite a long time. Just shows you what love and affection can do to extend your life. ”

Spatzi lived to the age of 10.
