The Parakeet and the Crow

Nalini Panday was at the terrace of her apartment at MRC Nagar to practise yoga when she spotted a parakeet and a crow sitting next to each other.

“A flock of parakeets flew down to the terrace ledge. One parakeet came and perched beside a crow. As I watched them both, I was surprised.

It was as if they were talking to each other. Were they discussing the deteriorating state of the environment? I wonder.”
