Two Budgies Adoring Each Other

These two male budgies are talking and kissing each other. The big one is Coco, an English budgie and the small one is an American budgie, Sapphire.

St Mary’s English budgies are larger than the Americans. The Americans are called regular budgies as well, and are usually referred to as parakeets. They are the ones often sold in pet stores. The English Budgies are more for showing or Exhibition Budgies. They are bred for their size and often have a shorter life span than the regular budgies.

But  Coco and Sapphire are both budgies, and are obviously very lucky to have each other… theirs is a happy life.
